As Dr. Gifford and Colleen were planning their December trip to Haiti a thought occurred to them by talking with patients in the office. Several of them have mentioned on line companies that donate a pair of reading glasses for every pair purchased from their website.  They thought, “We have the capabilities to do that too!”  So from now until March 2011 we will be donating one pair of reading glasses for every pair purchased at Red Eye Eyewear.  “What’s very satisfying about this,” says Dr. Gifford,  “is that I travel to both Haiti and Honduras once a year so I can eyewitness the glasses being delivered to those in need.  It’s a great feeling to see the look on someones face when they can read their Bible again or see the detail on a child’s face for the first time.”  Thanks to your purchases someone will receive the gift of sight.
